Joyce was awarded Second Prize in Apparel Category Competition for the Royalty Collections showcased at Fashion Week Brooklyn SS2017. IDA honorary juries examined over 1000 entries submitted by architects and designers of interiors, fashion, products, and graphics from 52 countries throughout the world. After final decisions had been made, the jury rewarded the best professional and emerging designers for their achievements in terms of design, creativity, usability and innovation. Judging was a rigorous process, with winners receiving publication of their work in the International Design Awards Book of Designs. The coveted IDA Trophy will be awarded to all Designers of the Year title winners at the official biennial International Design Awards Ceremony in Los Angeles. This annual competition recognizes honors and promotes legendary design visionaries and uncovers emerging talents in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic and Fashion Design on global level.

Last October 2015, Joyce bagged the Grand Prize at the Los Angeles Design Competition by showcasing Filipino tribal wear by adapting her signature floral-inspired style. Pilarsky showcased an 18-piece ethnic-inspired collection of formal wear consisting of cocktail dresses, gowns and male wear that features her interpretations of the various ethic wear of the Philippines. Using natural fabrics from the Philippines, specifically Zamboanga. She sourced jusi, piña, tinalak, abel Iloko and silk gazar from indigenous weavers she supports. This earth-friendliness and sustainability, the use of organic, hand-woven yet practical materials, makes it an important direction in the time of climate change threat.
She is one artist who has a very high regard of her country and aims to promote the beauty of its culture and the other Asian countries as a whole and proudly presents it to the world!

Recently won Mrs. Mother of the Universe 2017 in South Africa, she also bagged the grand prize at the Coastal Fashion Week Design Competition 2017 in New Orleans, USA, 2nd Prize winner – Apparel category and 3rd Prize Winner – Fashion Jewelry category at the International Design Awards 2016-2017 – Los Angeles California. Last 2015 she was declared Grand Prize winner at Los Angeles Fashion Week Design Competition. She loves to paint, she sings, dance and loves to act, a book author,  a beauty queen and a proud member of Designer Circle Philippines
